Lindsay Lohan faces a shock return to jail after FAILING a court-ordered drug test.
The troubled star, who recently spent 14 days behind bars and 22 days in rehab for violating a previous probation, could face another 30-day sentence.
The 24-year-old admitted on Twitter to failing the mandatory drug test for cocaine, and said she was ready to face the consequences.
She wrote, “Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before Judge Fox next week as a result.
"Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away overnight. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps.
"This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences."
Meanwhile another Hollywood starlet also set to face the consequences of her recent actions is Paris Hilton.
The blonde socialite, who was charged with felony drug possession last month, will reportedly plead guilty to both misdemeanour drug possession and obstructing an officer, when she appears in court today.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, a guilty plea will mean she’ll avoid jail time and be sentence to a year of probation instead.
The 29-year-old, who served three weeks in prison in 2007 for violating probation in a drink driving case, will also be expected to complete a substance abuse program, pay a $2000 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.
But it’s not just the girls behaving badly – Russell Brand has also got himself into trouble with the law after an alleged run-in with a photographer at Los Angeles International airport.
The Brit funnyman has been charged with battery after reportedly attacking the cameraman after he tried to take a picture up his fiancée Katy Perry’s skirt.
And while he was whisked away by the cops, his songstress other half - who defended her hunny-to-be’s action on Twitter saying, “If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me” - flew on to Las Vegas to celebrate her hens night.
And from the looks of things, she’s managed to put her beau’s arrest well and truly behind her!
The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ star celebrated her last days of freedom with an extravagant night out with her BFF Rihanna.
The singers, along with 25 pals, partied at the MGM Grand, before taking a stretch Hummer to a private show of KA by Cirque Du Soleil, and then they continued the celebrations at XS nightclub.
The morning after, the pop princess joked to her fans on Twitter she was “signing up for a liver transplant.”
Sounds like a top night to us!
