Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedd er battled the flu to pull off an amazing concert in Sydney last (Nov 22).

At the beginning of the super-show, he warned the 40,000-strong crowd at the Sydney Football Stadium that his voice wasn’t in great shape - but you’d never have known it.

As we reported last week, the Seattle stadium rockers treated the crowd to some Aussie music classics as the temperatures in the ground neared the 40 degree mark.

The band dedicated a song to Aussie legend Nick Cave and dueted with support act Liam Finn on the Hunters & Collectors' classic ’Throw Your Arms Around Me’.

The lads wrap up their Aussie dates at the QSAC Stadium, Brisbane, this Wednesday (Nov 25).

But a word of warning to any fans hoping to get Eddie and co’s autographs.

The band have put a complete ban on them.

According to a report in the Daily Telegraph, the lads stopped inking fans’ notepads a couple of years ago after becoming the target of professional autograph hunters who sold their signatures on eBay for astronomical prices.
