Beyonce only announced her pregnancy days ago at the ‘2011 Video Music Awards’, but rumours are already circulating as to who will be the godfather – and all bets are on Kanye West!
A source tells The Sun newspaper that the ‘Love Lockdown’ singer thinks he’s the right man for the job.
“Kanye is as excited about the baby as Beyonce and Jay-Z,” reports The Sun. “He’s been saying he’s going to be godfather and is absolutely chuffed. It will be a huge honour for him.”
Apparently West is already telling his pals that he’s bagged the important role and is excited because he thinks he will play a key part in the baby’s “spiritual upbringing”.
The outspoken artist, who collaborated with dad-to-be Jay-Z on their new album ‘Watch The Throne’, is clearly a huge fan of the superstar couple - he even infamously ruined Taylor Swift’s moment at the 2009 VMAs in order to let the world know he thought Bey’s video was better!
Bey-Z’s baby is due at the beginning of next year.
