Just weeks after announcing their super exciting new album ‘Watch The Throne’ is finally set to drop on August 2 – hip hop heavyweights Jay-Z and Kanye West have announced they’re also hitting the road together!

Yep, according to Billboard, the superstar rappers are off on a mega tour across the States!

Kicking off their first joint show in Detroit on September 22, the pair, who are joining forces under the new supergroup name The Throne have confirmed a further 23-dates across North America.



And while fans may have been given a sneaky peek of Jay and Kanye’s new record thanks to the release of two of its tracks – ‘H.A.M’ and ‘Otis’ - prepare to hear the rapstars as you’ve never heard them before!

According to one of the record’s featured songwriters, Verse Simmonds, as well as their iconic hip hop sound - the duo have also experimented with dubstep!

"What we did is, we locked in a week, we just went crazy on everything Jay and Kanye,” Simmonds, who worked with producer Sham Joseph on the tracks, told mtv.com.

"I remember telling Sham, I was like, 'Yo, I think this dubstep stuff is going to be the next new flavour that everybody gotta be on. It gotta have a hip-hop feel to it still'."
