Let the battle of the voices commence!

Yep, the teams are officially set and now it’s time for Delta Goodrem, Seal, Joel Madden and Keith Urban to go head-to-head to find the ‘The Voice Australia!’

With a mighty 12 contestants each, the superstar coaches are ready to battle it out to give one lucky winner the chance to bag a recording contract with Universal Music Australia as well as $100,000!

And while here at MTV Australia, we’re busy laying down our bets on who’ll become the next big name Down Under – fellow TV reality star Olly Murs has offered his own words of wisdom to the local wannabes.

The Brit ‘X-Factor’ contestant, who’s just released his second album ‘In Case You Didn’t Know’ in Oz, told us,

“My advice to any contestant on a reality show is that the show is a platform. That’s what you’ve got to look at it as.

“You have to use that platform that’s given to you, the fans that you’ll generate from that, the people that voted for you and love you as well.

"And then what you need to do is get into the studio and really take the time with the album. Make sure you get the right material, the right songs, make sure you’re driven and ambitious, and don’t accept second best.”
