Speaking about her record-breaking achievement she gushed,

"I'm so honored for all the little monsters and self-professed freaks of the universe, to have more VMA nominations in a single year than any artist in MTV history.

"Ironically, I'm even more proud it's an unlucky number: 13."

Among her 13 gongs, the songstress is up for ‘Best Pop Video,’ ‘Best Dance Music Video,’ ‘Best Female Video’ and ‘Best Choreography’ for her single, ‘Bad Romance.’

The megastar is also nominated for ‘Best Collaboration’ for her smash hit duet ‘Telephone,’ featuring Beyoncé.

Meanwhile, comeback King Eminem will be biting at her ridiculously high heels to scoop some awards of his own.

His brand spankin’ new album ‘Recovery,’ which features collaborations with stars including Rihanna and Pink, has earned him eight nominations.

Meanwhile VMA newcomer Ke$ha has revealed she’s “so grateful” to be up for three Moonmen for ‘Tik Tok.’
