The singing sensation has up until recently stubbornly refused to move from her small home in West Lothian Scotland, fearing the welfare of her beloved cat Pebbles.
Even though security was amped up at the request of mentor and X-Factor judge Simon Cowell after the January invasion of her home, the star has been living in constant fear for her life ever since.
It seems the stress is finally proving to much to bear for the fragile ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star. The 48-year-old has now relented to her record label's pleas - agreeing to live in London, while still keeping her three-bed house, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.
And her glamorous new digs, rumoured to be in the exclusive suburb of Chelsea, will also be a second home for her precious moggy Pebbles.
A source says, "She has now agreed to move to a place in the city, where she'll stay when busy working. During promotion commitments, it is thought she will stay for weeks at a time. The flat will be cat-friendly, so she can take Pebbles too."
