More than a thousand people came out in full-force for the hottest winter festival of the year - ‘MTV Snow Jam 2010!’

Wrapped up in their warmest gear to brave record snowfalls, hoards of people from across Australia hit the famous slopes of Thredbo for the bash - set to steam up your screens on MTV Australia, September 5 @ 4pm (AEST).
Starting off all the frost-bitten fun was the ‘Big Air Comp,’ in partnership with Burton Snowboards, which saw Mark Sollors bag first place.

Battling it out on the 60ft kicker to win a share of the total $8,000 cash prize, the Canadian Burton boarder beat off stiff competition from 25 international and local riders including Jye Kearney and Ryan Tiene
Next up was pop sensations Operator Please, who really got the party started!
Performing a range of hits from their smash hit second album ‘Gloves,’ including ‘Leave It Alone, ‘Just Kiss’ ‘Ping Pong’ as well as covers of Destiny’s Child’s ‘Lose My Breath’ and Salt-N-Pepa’s ‘Push It’ – they certainly succeeded in warming up the freezing crowd.

Meanwhile Gold Coast sibling DJ Duo Stafford Brothers also kept the fans moving, spinning some killer beats and classic dance tracks that got everyone’s hands in the air.
Continuing the fun, with an impressive display of over-head fireworks were Bliss N Eso.
Proving their place as one of Aussie’s favourite hip-hop icons, the trio rocked the crowd with tracks including ‘Eye Of The Storm,’ ‘Down By The River’ before closing the show with their latest single ‘Addicted.’

Following the show, VIP guests toasted the day with drinks by Russian Standard Vodka Citrus RTD, Red Bull and Heineken at the after-party - which took place at nearby hotspot Keller bar.
