It’s the news that’s sure to devastate ‘Disney’ fans worldwide – Demi Lovato has quit her popular tween series ‘Sonny With A Chance’ for good!
The troubled actress, who fled to rehab last October after suffering from a long-time eating disorder, has revealed she’s desperate to focus on her music career instead.
“I don't think going back to Sonny would be healthy for my recovery,” she told People Magazine.
“Being in front of a camera would make me nervous.
"It made sense for me to go ahead and leave the show to focus on my music.”
Although the 18-year-old, who’s kept a low profile since leaving the LA treatment facility in January, insisted her departure wasn’t an easy decision to make.
"It's kind of sad for me that a chapter of my life has ended,” she added.
But, it seems Demi fans won’t have to wait too long to see the stunning brunette back in the spotlight.
After music mogul Timbaland recently revealed he was keen to collaborate with the teen starlet, it seems a hot new track could be on the cards very soon!

Teasing fans with some Twitter banter, the ‘Give It To Me’ star, who’s worked with the likes of Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent and Missy Elliot, wrote,
“If ur a demi fan u should really thank @darealsebastian & @byrd757 they been goin hard tryin to make this colab happen between me & her.”
To which Demi replied, “@Timbaland007 for real though… Are you ready?! Idk about you but I believe magic is gonna come out of this collab..”
