The ‘Mean Girls’ star, who was taken into custody at the Lynwood Correctional Facility in Los Angeles for violating probation in a DUI case, will spend up to 22 hours a day in a tiny 12-by-8 foot cell.
During her time behind bars the troubled actress will be banned from wearing her beloved hair extensions, smoking cigarettes, and using a mobile phone or the internet.
In fact the only luxury she will have access to is a TV.
A source told People magazine,
"The inmates on that pod [where she is housed] can watch TV through the window of the door on their cell.”
"They watch I Love Lucy, Wheel of Fortune and a local news channel all day long."
The wildchild, who’s used to enjoying an extravagant lifestyle in Hollywood, will also be forced to swap her expensive toiletries for a basic “fish kit”.
The kit, supplied to every new inmate, contains a small tube of toothpaste, a toothbrush, three packets of cream deodorant, three packets of shampoo and a small bar of soap.
As the 23-year-old kicked off her sentence, her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said his client was feeling “scared but resolute.”
And taking to her Twitter page just a few hours before surrendering herself to court, she joked to fans,
"The only "bookings" that i'm familiar with are Disney Films, never thought that i'd be "booking" into Jail... eeeks. (sic)"
