The pair have spent the last couple of years dating on and off and recently Audrina said of her hunk o’ spunk from Down Under: “He is one of the nicest, sweetest guys I’ve ever met.”
Pals blame the split on geography and work timetables. One revealed: "It's mainly to do with their busy schedules. She's constantly filming, and he spends six months out of the year in his native Australia. She's single, and happy. "
Perky Audrina’s put a positive spin on the break-up. She said: “It’s not bad. It was for the best… It makes it really hard, having people judge you on your fights and not knowing the whole story of what really went on.”
Meanwhile, reports out of the States claim the brunette lovely has already got herself a new fella – model - and Justin Bobby’s BFF, no less - Derek White.
The pair were papped in an LA restaurant eatery where onlookers commented on their natural chemistry.
One witness said: “They had that awkward first date vibe, but there were definitely sparks.”
A scripted Hills ‘showmance’ or real love? To use a well-worn phrase: only time will tell…
