After non-stop buzz about which global superstars will be gracing our shores for ‘Big Day Out 2012’ - the OFFICIAL first line-up has finally been revealed!

And it’s a ‘Good Friday’ for Kanye West fans, as the rapper has announced he’ll be headlining the Aussie festival!

Yep, just months after rocking the stage at ‘Splendour In The Grass,’ the King of controversy has proved he just can’t keep away from his loyal fans Down Under!

Also joining the hip hop legend at the 20th anniversary of the popular summer gig, will be Brit rockers Kasabian and reformed US grunge act Soundgarden.



Other international artists confirmed for the bash, which will kick off at Sydney Showgrounds on January 26, include My Chemical Romance, Foster The People, Cage The Elephant, Girl Talk, Royskopp, Mariachi El Bronx, Odd Future and Battles.

And representing us Aussies will be The Living End, Hilltop Hoods, Boy & Bear, Parkway Drive and The Jezbels.
