Rockers Good Charlotte have touched down in Oz!
Twins Benji and Joel Madden hit Down Under this week and are here until September 2 to promote their brand spankin’ new album ‘Cardiology.’
Unveiling a sneak preview of their fifth record with an exclusive album-listening session in Sydney this week, the US pop-punkers will debut their highly-anticipated new material.
It’s been a while since the pair last visited out shores, and since then Joel has been keen to make his new release a family affair.
The singer, married to reality TV star Nicole Richie, enlisted the help of his two-and-a-half year-old daughter Harlow to appear in the clip for the band’s new single ‘Like It’s Her Birthday.’
Joel told fans on Twitter, "Harlow helps announce our song on iTunes LOL She's loves goin 2 work w/me."
And while we can’t wait to hear their latest hits – Benji has also opened up about why their initial work was hijacked by a producer during their last trip to Oz.
In an interview with the Daily Telegraph he said,
"It was the wrong producer for the wrong situation; it was really scary because we put so much into the record.
"I may have punched walls when no one else was around."
And now with a new album, comes a new look! Benji said he’s desperate to find a stylish hat to rival the one his bro snapped up on his last Aussie visit.
He added, "Joel likes to show it off to me because he knows I want it; I've tried everything but he won't give it up.”
