For those fans who’ve flooded message boards begging to know when Linkin Park will tour Australia, we’ve got excellent news for you. The nu-metalers look set to officially announce their Aussie tour very soon!

The Grammy Award winning six piece, who were last on our shores in 2007, will hit Oz in December after their string of European Shows, according to the TripleM website.

Reporter Nui Te Koha said: "We can exclusively reveal that Linkin Park is coming here in December. They'll be here right in the middle of Bon Jovi. This will be an arena tour so it will be Rod Laver Arena."

The rap/rockers, who were last on our shores in 2007, will play tracks from their fourth album ‘A Thousand Suns’, which is due for release September 13. It was co-produced by famed producer Rick Rubin and LP rapper Mike Shinoda.

Get ready for a mind bending feast for the ears and eyes – according to the band itself, the tour is “a celebration of sound and vision [with] each live performance is designed to be a transformative multi-media experience, complete with a unique blending of music and art and featuring never-before-seen visual technology.”
