We’ve watched her blossom from a Teen Vogue intern alongside Lauren Conrad in ‘The Hills’ - to the ultimate fashionista in New York City.
Now, with her very own clothing line, ‘Whitney Eve,’ under her belt - Whitney Port will be going it alone as ‘The City’ has officially ended.
A spokesman for MTV said in an official statement, “The City will not will not be returning to MTV for season three.
"Whitney has been a part of our family for many years and we wish her and the cast the best, and hope to collaborate with them again."
And for all you Whit fans out there, don’t fear, the reality star has some big plans on the horizon!
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest’s radio show she said, "I'm working on some other things.
"It's OK. One door closes and another opens."
And the 25-year-old also spoke about the news on her blog.
“It's always sad when one major chapter in your life comes to a close,” she wrote.
“But for me, this is the beginning of an entirely new one. I loved filming 'The City.' It was just such an adventure and I'm so grateful for every opportunity it gave me.”
And with her former co-star and reality BFF LC currently filming a new show, perhaps an onscreen reunion for the style idols could be on the cards…
