Yep, after a four year relationship, it seems even their matching floppy hairdos just weren’t enough to keep them together.
“It’s completely amicable – but yes it’s true. They have split,” the fashionista’s spokesman Liz Matthews confirmed to the Sunday Mirror.
And it seems things haven’t been too good between the Brit model-turned-TV star and the Arctic Monkey’s frontman for some time – with the cracks first beginning to show back in June when the uber trendy pair hit Glastonbury together.
“At Glastonbury festival, they barely said a word to each other,” a source told The Sunday Mirror.
"They really wanted to give it a go to hold it together and seemed to be getting back on track - but things got bad again and they both decided enough was enough.”
But the good news is, the former couple are said to be determined to remain on good terms.
“They want to stay friends so it's best to split now,” added the source. “They've been through a lot together and all their friends are sad they've called time as a couple. Alexa and Alex both wanted things to work. It was best that they both got out now and saved their friendship."
Meanwhile, Alexa looks set to get over her heartache with a trip Down Under!
