Lily Allen has sensationally spoken out about her long-time battle with an eating disorder.

Coming clean for the first time about her secret struggle with bulimia in a new documentary titled, ‘Lily Allen: From Riches to Rags,’ the Brit popstar admits,

“I used to vomit after meals. It’s not something I’m proud of.

"But, I tell you what, a lot of people came up to me telling me how great I looked and I'd be on the cover of every magazine.

"I thought I looked good and it was great to be able to try on clothes and feel a million dollars. But I wasn't happy, I really wasn't.”

The hitmaker, who’s engaged to her beau Sam Cooper, says that she’s since learned to deal with her weight issues.

"I would love to be the skinniest minniest person in the world but I can't do that without being unhappy - I like food.

“I am still body conscious, but I'm not so concerned with it. I don't care as much."

In the new show, which highlights the ‘Smile’ singer’s move from the record industry into the fashion biz, the 25-year-old, who’s launched a clothing store with her sister Sarah, also reveals her heartbreak at suffering her second miscarriage last year.

"It was a really long battle,” she says. “And I think that kind of thing changes a person."
