According to Access Hollywood, the reality TV star is pleased to have something to take her mind off the split.
“It couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m staying busy and I’m just gonna have fun.”
She’s not the first starlet from the hit reality show to step out on the dance floor – former co-star Audrina Patridge featured on the programme last year, and it seems the brunette beauty has already been giving Kristin some top tips.
“I talked to her the other day, she just said, ‘Have fun with it,’” Kristin said. “She said it gets really hard, more towards the middle and closer to the end, but she said it’s so much fun and just to enjoy it.”
Although Audrina was surprised that K-Cav had the courage to get up and strut her stuff in the first place!
“I've never really seen Kristin dance," she admitted to E! "But I'm sure she's going to have a good time and I'll be cheering for her, that's for sure...She can count on my votes.”
Kristin will compete against stars including ‘Scream’ actor David Arquette, talk show host Ricki Lake and Rob Kardashian.
