Following in the footsteps of Lady Gaga and Rihanna, Ke$ha is the latest pop princess to head Down Under.
And the ‘Blah, Blah, Blah’ singer, who’s here to promote her new album ‘Animal,’ is so taken with Australia, she’s already planning to come back to tour.
The songstress tells MTV, “This is actually my favourite place in the world I have to say.
“So I’ll be back here soon on tour. I know I’m touring this summer and you can expect something, like, in the fall probably.”
The outspoken blonde was also keen to dismiss the idea she’s had “over night success,” insisting that she’s actually been working to get where she is today for years.
She says, “I quit high school at 17 and got my GED which was kinda stupid but I’ve been working ever since and I’m 23, so for six years. So that’s not that quickly. It’s almost like a fourth of my life.”
And the US beauty, debut single ‘Tik Tok’ hit the no 1 spot in Oz, tells us she’s grateful her music has been well received as it’s the only thing she’s any good at.
“I’m really excited it’s working coz I can’t do anything else. I’m excited I can just lay around in my bedroom writing songs about all the stupid s**t I do and now people know the words.”
Well we reckon she’s not bad at pulling an outfit together either.
Talking to the fashionista about some of her most unique looks, she tells us the inspiration behind each of them.
“It was so freezing cold outside that I thought dressing close to naked would be the best approach for this event.”
“I was going for a roman gladiator look with the big metallic breastplate jewelry and fingerless gloves.”
