Will.i.am has revealed he helped end the long-term feud between the late Michael Jackson and Prince.
The Black Eyed Peas star achieved the near-impossible when he brought his close friend Jacko and the ‘Kiss’ singer together backstage at a show in Las Vegas.
In an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone, the ‘Boom Boom Pow’ star admits he secretly arranged for the pair to meet up two years ago, in order to put a misunderstanding at a 1983 James Brown concert behind them.
Will.i.am reveals that Prince was performing in Sin City when he asked if the rapper would join him on stage. The popstar jumped at the chance and asked if he could bring his pal Michael.
“I told Quincy (Jones) and he was like, “I can’t believe you got Mike to go there.
“Prince and Michael Jackson? Come on, dude. That’s connecting worlds,” he said.
