Earlier this year they hinted that a return Down Under was well and truly on the cards – and now Brit rockers Arctic Monkeys have finally announced their new Aussie tour!

The fierce four-piece, who’ve just released their fourth studio album ‘Suck It And See,’ are set to "Look Good On The Dancefloor" when they hit our shores in January next year.

And if you’re yet to hear their killer new tunes, drummer Matt Helders has given fans a sneaky peek at what to expect from the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Humbug.’

“There are bits in there that are heavy and bits that are fast,”
he told The Fly.

“But in general a lot of the tunes are based on, I suppose, a more traditional way of writing songs. Starting off with chords and lyrics and melody and putting it all together, whereas before we wrote songs differently.”

Don’t miss the indie rockstars up, close and personal in Oz when tix go on sale Tuesday August 9!
