The biggest names in Hollywood turned out for the most prestigious fashion event of the year.

Dressed in their finest attire, the world’s favourite A-listers added non-stop glamour to the annual ‘Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala’ in New York.

But one celeb who attracted more attention for her figure than her gown was Kate Hudson.

Dressed in a low cut gold number, she set further tongues wagging about her rumoured boob job.

Talking to US magazine her pal Stella McCartney, who also designed the floor length gown, revealed Kate feels like a “princess” post surgery.

And another star flashing the flesh was Katy Perry, who lit up the bash - literally.

The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer opted for a pale pink and white number by CuteCircuit, which changed colour as soon as the lights when down.

The popstar, who attended the event without her fiancé Russell Brand, revealed she used a switch in her underwear to control the bulb. “I love it, it's so much fun.

“I have this thing in my bra. I don't know if that's a good place for it or not.”

Also making a show-stopping impression on the carpet was youngster Emma Watson. The actress swapped her usual University attire for a floor length Burberry gown, slashed to the thigh.

Other guests included Jennifer Lopez, who looked every inch the bridal Barbie in a head-to-toe jewelled dress by Zuhair Murad, and Eva Longoria who showed off her petite frame in Marchesa, with a matching clutch.

Jessica Biel brought along Justin Timberlake to compliment her look perfectly. Strutting the carpet hand in hand, the pair ended much speculation that their relationship was over.

And the ever stylish Sienna Miller arrived arm in arm with her boyfriend Jude Law, in their first red carpet appearance since reigniting their relationship.

Meanwhile Kristen Stewart turned up without her other half Robert Pattinson. Opting for slick hair and a black taffeta & tulle Chanel gown, the ‘Twilight’ star looked uneasy as she posed for pics, despite sporting her favourite colour of all time – black.
