While rumours have been swirling around the pop star of late thanks to a newly rounded tum (a result of feasting on too much New York City pizza, she told the crowd at NYC’s Madison Square Garden last week) the songtress has insisted that she’s not pregnant – but it may not be too long until she is!
According to the New York Post, the chart-topper, who's due to wrap up her ‘California Dreams’ tour this week, has told her management company that after the tour she plans to step out of the limelight.
“Katy is taking time off to work on her family,” a source to the New York Post.
“She has informed her managers that after that, she’ll take a year off to spend time with husband Russell Brand and to start a family.”
And her management aren’t the only ones that are privy to her baby plans. She told Ellen DeGeneres:
”Yeah, I would love to have children. I think that's one of the reasons you get married, especially to the person that you marry. You think, 'That person is going to be a good partner, a good parent'… If it doesn't hurt the first time. I'll keep popping them out.”
