She’s only 11 years old, but Willow Smith is ready to unleash her third single on the charts - and this time, it’s with the help of some serious superstars, and we don’t mean her mum and dad!

The ‘Whip My Hair’ hitmaker has teamed up with Nicki Minaj for her new single ‘Fireball’, which she hopes will ignite the charts!

“Nicki Minaj is absolutely an amazing person,” Willow said, according to Popcrush.

“She has so much energy and working with her was like, just like sparks. We were coming together with all our art and it was amazing.”

Explaining the meaning behind a “fireball”, Willow said:

“A fireball is somebody — it doesn’t have to be a girl or a boy — somebody that just goes out there and does what they want to do, and [is] just so outgoing and tries new things and just is true to who they are.”

And while it seems like she’s doing just that, it’s surprising to hear that despite her superstar heritage and connections, Willow didn’t think that the collab would become a reality…

According to the dailymail.co.uk, Willow said: “It was a surprise for me. They told me she was going to be on it, but I was like 'That's not gonna happen.'”

“Then later on, they told me 'She's on the song' and I was like 'That's awesome.'"

"I would love to work with Nicki Minaj again, she's really lively. The other person I'd like to work with is Jessie J because she's got a great voice and she's also really lively.”

Her debut album, due to drop in the states on April 3, has a long list of rumoured collaborators including Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Jay Z, but the mini fashion icon is staying mum, for now!

“I can’t say,” she dutifully said. “It’ll be a surprise.”
