She’s tough-skinned, edgy, and brave enough to wear a lobster on her head - evidently there isn’t much that embarrasses Lady Gaga.
But in a recent interview, Gaga admitted there was one thing that shames her out, and that was singing along to Taylor Swift’s hit ‘You Belong With Me’!
During a mammoth interview with showstudio.com, where the Lady answered a variety of questions from her ‘little monsters’, the kooky popstrel was asked to name a song that she is embarrassed to sing along to when it comes on the radio.
Gaga answered:
“I don’t want to hurt her feelings because she’s lovely – that Taylor Swift song ‘You Belong With Me.’ Oh my God, when it comes on the radio I sing so loud, I’m so embarrassed.”
But far from dissing the young country starlet Kanye-style, Gaga then heaped praise on Taylor for helping her to feel ‘whimsical’.
“It’s a great song, you can’t help. It’s not a bad song, it’s a great song. I think it’s because it’s very whimsical in a way that I’m not whimsical every day. When it comes on, I get this release. I want to sing it – every woman feels that way. I didn’t mean that in a bad way, Taylor – I think you’re beautiful and a great song writer.”
Somehow we couldn’t imagine Taylor busting out ‘Telephone’ but perhaps a ‘whimsical’ collaboration is on the horizon?
