Kanye West is planning to release the longest music video EVER!

The Grammy Award-winning rapper has revealed he’ll be making a record-breaking 40 minute clip for his new single ‘Runaway.’

The superstar, who premiered his catchy new hit on stage at the ‘2010 MTV Video Music Awards’ earlier this week, will beat the current title-holder - Michael Jackson, who’s single ‘Ghosts’ is timed at 39 minutes and 31 seconds.

The ‘Gold Digger’ singer recently revealed his hot new track is inspired by his antics at the 2009 VMAs, where he infamously interrupted Taylor Swift’s ‘Best Female Video’ acceptance speech.

In an interview with NYMag.com, the hip-hop star says of film-noir-style clip, filmed in Prague last month,

"It's the story of a phoenix fallen to Earth and I make her my girlfriend. People discriminate against her, and eventually she has to burn herself alive and go back to her world. I've been feeling the idea of the phoenix. It's been in my heart for a while. It's maybe parallel to my career. I threw a Molotov cocktail on my career last year, in a way, and I had to come back as a better person."
