Forget the running man or the fist-pump - LMFAO’s iconic shuffle is quickly becoming the next biggest dance craze to sweep across the universe.

But, it seems the party-loving duo could have their Aussie pals Justice Crew to thank for inspiring the infectious movement!

In an exclusive chat with MTV Australia, Emmanuel ‘EMan’ Rodriguez and Lukas Wildrok from the multi-talented Sydney group told us,

“We were at the Grammy pre party and LMFAO rocked up, we had a circle going because we wanted to represent Australia while we were in America, and we were shuffling as a joke in like a massive circle.

"Kid Cudi was there, Kid Ink, all these celebrities were there, and they rock up and I swear they saw us shuffling and were like, ‘hey that’s pretty cool.’

“Then probably a month later, the song dropped.”

And now the ‘Party Rock’ stars better watch out because the ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ winners are ready to reclaim the famous steps!

“LMFAO we want our moves back!” joked Emmanuel. “I know you were watching us right then!”

And when they’re not busy shuffling, Justice Crew are getting ready to wow Aussie fans when they kick off their tour with pop icon Janet Jackson next month.

“We never thought in a million years that we'd be supporting Janet Jackson,” Lukas told MTV.

“We've just been preparing for a good show, it’s gonna be one that’s gonna blow everyone’s minds.

"I think Janet Jackson’s crowd are gonna be a little different to what we're used to, I guess a bit older, so we're gonna have to go for kinda that older demographic.”

As for how exactly they plan to woo the sold-out audience – well, they’re taking it back, “old school” style!

“We're gonna keep it like a Will Smith Fresh Prince of Bel-Air kind of style, like old school, all the music kind of old school meets new school.

"It’s gonna be really entertaining. We just wanna rip it up and entertain them!”

Don’t miss Justice Crew supporting Janet Jackson at the Sydney Opera House on November 5 and November 6.
