Hollywood superstars were out in force for the world premiere of ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”
After camping for almost a week to catch a glimpse of their favourite cast members, Twi-hards couldn’t contain their excitement as Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and co strutted their stuff down the very apt black carpet, in Los Angeles.
Man of the moment R-Patz didn’t fail to disappoint. Making up for the lack of red in the carpet, the British hunk looked dashing in a red Gucci suit, matched with his newly cropped hair do.
Quick to snub recent reports he’s “bored” of all the ‘Twilight’ hype he told MTV,
“Anyone who says they’re tired of this is crazy.
“I love doing the movies, I’ve had a great time doing all of them. It’s become such a big part of my life.”
But despite the incredible turn out, the actor snubbed plans to party after the premiere.
“I have work tomorrow,’ he said. “I have got a 5am start on a film, Water For Elephants.”
And it sounds like his stunning co-star Kristen Stewart might miss out on the post celebrations too…
After wowing fans in a mini one shouldered white dress and sky scraper heels, she said, “I’m ready to go inside, but only because my feet hurt!”
Talking about filming the third part of the spooky saga, she added, “It was fun.
“I was so very much in her [Bella's] mind that I didn't know how it was going to go. She grows up in this movie, she chooses Edward, she doesn't need him anymore.”
Matching the carpet in his black suit, Taylor Lautner couldn’t seem to wipe the grin off his face as he confessed how overwhelmed he was with the huge turn-out.
He gushed to MTV, “It’s amazing to see all the fans, they’ve been here for a week, it’s incredible.”
And talking about his favourite parts in the movie, he added, “The tent scene and Jacob’s last scene of the movie in Jacob’s bedroom when he begs Bella for one last chance.”
Giving the ladies more eye candy to swoon over was the tall, dark and handsome Kellan Lutz.
Joined at the Nokia Theatre by his girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord, he revealed,
“It’s a very unique experience to be part of this.
“I love my character and I’m really excited to see the fighting scenes.
“I had to shove myself into some rocks and some trees. These are my tattoos, those little scars.
And making us Aussie’s proud was our very own homebred actor Xavier Samuels.
Suited and booted for the occasion, the ‘Twilight’ newbie compared the hype of the movies to his love for his favourite sport.
“I was really into Australian football when I was younger, so I went to all the grand finals.
“I wasn’t waving posters or anything like that, but I can understand the hysteria.”
And pleasing ladies across the globe, he admitted he would definitely consider dating a fan. “Absolutely,” he added. “They’re all so good-looking!”
Standing out in the female style stakes was actress Nikki Reid. The brunette, who plays Rosalie Cullen, certainly didn’t blend in with the crowd in a baby blue feathered ensemble.
Taking her younger brother along as her date, she admitted she’s always been a huge fan of the popular series. She said, “I can enjoy all of it except the scenes that I’m in, as a fan.”
And her co-star Ashley Greene, who went for a simple grey strapless gown, revealed how filming the third movie has made her keen for plenty more action.
“I’m dying to do an action movie now,” she said.
Meanwhile Dakota Fanning, who plays Volturi vampire, told MTV why she was so happy the final flick ‘Breaking Dawn’ is being split into two movies.
She said, “I think that’s great for the fans.
“It’s two more things to look forward to out there.”
But it wasn’t just the celebs lucky enough to be in the vampire saga who rocked the carpet, and their finest gowns, for the event.
A-list fans of the blood sucking series, included Jennifer Love Hewitt, Yankees star Alex Rodriguez and the Kardashian sisters.
