Robert Pattinson had a lucky escape when his car caught on fire whilst he was driving!
The ‘Twilight’ hottie was cruising through California when his vintage BMW burst into flames, back in 2008.
Appearing on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’, the actor recalled the scary incident.
He said, "I was driving and my dashboard went on fire. Completely on fire. And I was trying to drive it with one finger back down (highway) 101.
“The fire went out and I kind of drove it around to see it was OK, and it seemed OK. I called my dad and said, 'You think I should bring it to a mechanic? It went on fire earlier on.' And he was like, 'Generally you should, yeah'."
And even two years on the Brit star admits he’s still unsure about his driving skills.
He added, "I did it (got my license) in Oregon, one of those crash courses... I'm not entirely sure how to drive."
Meanwhile his co-star Kristen Stewart has revealed a secret of her own...
The pretty brunette is obsessed with her pet cat!
Talking to Extra, the actress insisted she prefers to stay at home with her fave companion, rather than go out clubbing.
She revealed, “I'm so boring. No I am. I sit in my house with my cat. I'm a crazy cat lady, just give me a couple of years. I have one cat but I'm obsessed with him."
