It was a moment 25 years in the making, but last night Aussie superstar Kylie Minogue finally took her rightful place in the ARIA Hall of Fame.
Joining the ranks alongside Australian music icons including The Bee Gees, INXS and Olivia Newton-John, Minogue's tribute package was introduced by an emotional Molly Meldrum before she was officially inducted by Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

"I'm a very proud Australian, always bragging about our country wherever I am in the world," Kylie said in her acceptance speech.
"Tonight's award means so much to me. Australia I love you and I thank you very much."
Later in the night Molly Meldrum caught up with Kylie backstage for an exclusive interview for MTV News, and the pop princess was still buzzing.
"It's a great honour, it's really amazing that it's happened" she said.
"I don't know where 25 years has gone! But they were a good 25 years and it's a nice opportunity to look back and kind of appreciate what we've done and how far we've come."
