Us Aussie’s can’t get enough of pop superstar P!nk - and now here’s the proof!

Following her record-breaking ‘Funhouse’ tour here last year - the singer’s success Down Under has been cemented after she bagged the prestigious ‘Helpmann Award’ for ‘Best International Concert.’

The ‘Trouble’ star, who performed a massive 17 gigs at Rod Laver Arena in 2009, beat off stiff competition from huge artists including AC/DC, Beyoncé and George Michael to take home the gong this week.

Other winners at the event, held at the famous Sydney Opera House, included Wil Anderson for ‘Best Comedy Performer,’ ‘Jersey Boys’ for ‘Best Musical,’ and ‘Avenue Q’s’ Mitchell Butel swooped the prize for ‘Best Male Actor In a Musical.’

Hosted by David Campbell, the awards ceremony, which celebrates excellence and achievement in live performance, also saw Hollywood star Cate Blanchett - who failed to receive a nomination for her work in ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ - and hubby Andrew Upton walk the red carpet.
