She may have wowed fans with her raunchy stage routine at the ‘2010 MTV European Music Awards’ this week – but behind the sexy costumes and all that bump N’ grinding Miley Cyrus is said to be battling a broken heart.
The ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ singer, who turns 18 later this month, has reportedly split from her hunky Aussie boyfriend Liam Hemsworth once again.
An insider told People magazine,
“Their on-and-off-again relationship is currently off. But you never know with Miley and Liam. They could be back on at some point.
“There was no drama. Their relationship just ran it’s course. They were good friends first and remain friends.”
The sad news comes just weeks after the ‘Hannah Montana’ star’s parents Billy Ray and Tish officially announced their shock break-up too.
And according to PerezHilton, the teen idol has been struggling to come to terms with their decision - and even believes she could be to blame.
“Both parents have been equally involved in making their daughter a superstar. And now that they have achieved their goal they have nothing to work towards anymore and nothing to keep them together,” a pal of the 17-year-old tells Perez.
“You would think that someone like Miley has everything in the world, but I guarantee she would give it all up in a second if it kept her family together. I'm sure when she blows out her birthday candles in a few weeks her wish will be for mom and dad, not her career."
