Up until now Janet Jackson has always refused to join her brothers on stage.
But now the singer thinks it will be a fitting tribute to brother Michael , who died last June, to tour with the Jackson 5 later this year.
During a promo visit to Australia for new reality TV show ‘The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty’ her older brother Jermaine revealed her new plans.
He said, “Janet will be joining us. We’re all talking about it now. She has never played with us before so that will be very special. She definitely wants to do it.
“We had a conference call and Janet has agreed to join us on tour.”
The shows will be the first the group have played since Jacko passed away.
It’s unclear as yet whether the popstar will actually replace the king of pop in the band, by singing and dancing his parts, or whether she’ll play her own set.
