Aussies love ’Twilight’ and ’Twilight’ loves Aussies, back.
Midnight premieres of ’New Moon’ have sold out across the country, hot Aussie talent is being snapped up by the movie franchise’s casting directors and now Antipodean dudes, Eskimo Joe, have just added a specially penned tune to the New Moon soundtrack.
The lads are licking their fangs in anticipation at getting involved with the vampire film phenomenon.
Guitarist Stuart MacLeod said: "It's great to be a part of the global phenomenon that is Twilight. When approached about writing a song for the soundtrack, ‘Thunderclap’ seemed to be the perfect song for the album.
"It was a song we wrote early on in the album process for ‘Inshalla’. It has a darkness to it, but also a real feeling of hope. I hope it's a good match for the film."
Meanwhile, the lads have signed up to play the super-fest that is Big Day Out, in January, and share the bill with Muse and Powderfinger.
