The ‘OMG’ sensation, whose critically acclaimed latest album ‘Raymond V. Raymond’ climbed to #2 on the ARIA Charts in a matter of days and enjoyed double platinum status, was only here a few months ago in March for a whirlwind promo trip.
Tickets to his exclusive Aussie ‘Sunrise’ TV show performance were snapped up in under two minutes, and clearly the love is mutual for the Universally-acclaimed demigod, who can’t get enough of his devoted fans in Australia.
Talking exclusively to MTV Australia back in May, the mesmerising performer said:
“I’ll be back to tour next year. [Australia’s] a great market for me. I’m going to continue to come back here as long as you guys want to see me.”
He also mentioned he was a big fan of Aussie talent, in particular our own Empire of the Sun!
“There are so many artists who are incredible out there. I love, believe it or not, the Aussie group Empire Of The Sun. I think they are really dope. To do something outside of the norm would be interesting for me…. To do something that’s off the beat and path of what people would expect.”
