With the 10 year anniversary of September 11 fast approaching, artists have come together in a new campaign to share their memories of the day that changed the world.

The video, titled ‘I Will: Join the 9/11 Tribute Movement’, was released by MTV’s parent company Viacom and features Lady Gaga, Nas, Pauly D and other celebrities.

Pop princess Lady Gaga spoke about what she saw on that fateful day.

"We were in disbelief. We all watched the second tower fall”

Earlier this year, the songstress opened up to radio station Hot 99.5 about her experience.

"I watched the towers fall with all my girlfriends from the roof of our school ... And the whole city was covered in ashes ... I remember my dad picked me up and we couldn't reach my mom for 10 hours because my mother worked right across the street from the World Trade Center," the pop star admitted.

Other famous faces on the video tribute were asked 'what will you do to remember?'

Rapper Nas said in the 30 second clip,

"No one was ready for 9/11 when it happened. I will remember the people that we lost."

‘Jersey Shore’ star Pauly D recalled his own memories in New York.

"You almost feel a sense of helplessness," said the DJ. "I will call all my family members on that day."

The video was created to encourage the public to help turn the 10th anniversary of the attacks into a day of positive action and service.
