With the final episode ever of ‘The Hills’ looming ever-closer, MTV will be following the stories of all ‘The Hills’ characters you’ve grown to love, (and hate!) in the coming days.
Today, we take a look back at the ups and downs and many on-off, on-off lovers of one of the original cast members - who happens to have starred in MORE ‘Hills’ episodes than any of her co-stars - Audrina Patridge.
In The Beginning…
California babe Audrina knew fame was her calling as soon as she graduated from school.
As an aspiring model and actress, she moved to Los Angeles to focus on her showbiz dream, while working as a receptionist at Quixote Studios, but it was on a rare day off that she got her big shot.
The Hills Are Calling…
Living in the same apartment block as Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag, Audrina was spied by MTV producers whilst sunbathing by the pool.
She recalls to Sydney’s MX, "The executive producer came up and started talking to me about a new show. He said it was kind of like Sex and the City and he really liked what I had going on.
"They had me go in and meet the other directors and they all loved me. It just fell in my lap, but it was good timing. It was fate."
Heidi’s Out, Audrina’s In…
With a new job at Epic Records, Audrina bagged herself a new pad too. And it was all thanks to Heidi. Well, Spencer Pratt, really.
As Speidi became closer (after S-Pratt tries and fails to hook-up with Audrina of-course) Audrina moved in with Lauren.
Sticking by L.C’s side throughout the fake sex-tape rumours, she says Heidi’s become “brainwashed.”
Enter Justin Bobby…
In 2007 Audrina gave her on-off, on-off lover Justin Bobby another chance.
But after discovering he wouldn’t ditch his womanizing ways she called it quits. But by the following year they were back together once again, but not for long…
Audrina’s Out, Lo’s In…
With the return of Lauren’s ‘Laguna Beach’ BFF Lo Bosworth, Audrina’s pushed out of the circle. Lauren and Audrina’s friendship hit rock bottom and in a tearful confrontation before she moves out, Audrina cried,
"Everything was fine when it was just me and you. When Lo's in the picture, you're just distant from me."
Audrina also got sick of Justin bailing on her and went on a date with Aussie Corey Bohan. But Corey couldn’t replace Justin and the former lovers reunited once again.
But by Season five, Audrina has changed her mind again and a rumour about Justin getting cosy with Lauren tipped her over the edge and she ended things with him for good – but not before a night of fun with Brody Jenner.
Audrina’s Surgery Confession…
After landing her first film role in ‘Into The Blue 2’ it was Audrina’s new body rather than her acting which hit the headlines.
Looking bustier than ever in a revealing green bikini, she was plagued with rumours of a boob job, which she laughed off claiming,
“I’m just losing my baby fat – everyone grows up and changes.”
Audrina Vs Kristin…
The arrival of Kristin Cavallari, and her plan to bag Justin for herself resulted in a full blown cat-fight between her and Audrina, with K-Cav yelling, “You f*%#d with the wrong girl, dude!”
But before long, Kristin had realised for herself that Justin was trouble and by Season Six Kristin and Audrina had become friends.
Audrina Moves On…
After a fling with her old pal Ryan Cabrera, Audrina has since been spotted back with her Aussie dreamboat Corey. But whether or not she’s really over Justin – it seems only time will tell.
And with ‘The Hills’ drawing to an end, she’s announced plans to continue her career in reality TV, with her own series, ‘The Audrina Show.’
