The Foo Fighters brought plenty of rock n roll swagger to MTV’s night of nights when they took to the stage after bagging the award for ‘Best Rock Video.’
The foursome beat out competition from Black Keys, Mumford & Sons, Foster the People and Cage the Elephant to take home the Moonman for their epic hit ‘Walk’!
Accepting the award front man Dave Grohl said,
“I just want to say: Never lose faith in real rock and roll music, you know what I mean? Never lose faith in that.
"You might have to look a little harder, but it’s always going to be there.”
According to Music News, the group is set to release their third single from their massive new album ‘Wasting Light’ – which apparently was recorded entirely in Dave’s garage on old school tape, very rock n roll guys!
Foo fans will also get a chance to see band play at the end of the year when they rock our shores during their Aussie tour with Jack Black’s band Tenacious D.
