It’s official! Megastar Eminem is hitting our shores in December and Lil Wayne will support him!
The shows are set to take place on Thursday December 1 at the Ethiad Stadium in Melbourne and Friday December 2 at Sydney Cricket Ground.
According to News.com.au, tour promoter Paul Dainty has said ‘The Real Slim Shady’ wasn’t keen for a full-blown tour,
“We offered him two shows knowing he doesn’t want to tour. We could have done a show in every city, but that’s not what he’s about. He comes in does a show here, does a show there, and that’s it.”
He went on to add that bagging the superstar was a dream come true,
“I’m sure everybody made an offer because, let’s face it, he’s one of the biggest superstars a promoter could land. He’s iconic.”
The urban legends will headline a six hour hip-hop spectacular with local rappers Hilltop Hoods supporting them.

The exciting news has come just days after Lil Wayne’s newest album ‘The Carter IV’ was leaked online - a week before it’s official release date!
Weezy was in good spirits though about the leak,
“It just means people want to hear it. I mean, ‘cause there’s people’s albums that come out that can be leaked and don’t leak, so I’m glad mines leaked,” he told MTV News.
Billboard.com have estimated the album will sell 900,0000 copies in its first week.
With two of the hottest hip-hop artists heading Down Under – what are you waiting for? Tickets go on sale @ ticketek.com.au on September 13 from 2pm (AEST).
