Builders digging up the grass at his former home in Surrey, England, have came across the remains of a leather bag containing several large broken glass bottles.
According to rumours, the singer buried a large amount of LSD in his garden after the band announced they were giving up drugs to study meditation in India.
But when the ‘Get Back’ stars returned from their trip they are said to have had a change of heart and tried to dig up the secret stash – but never found it.
Now followers of the legendary musicians are convinced these bottles once contained acid.
But they’re unlikely to ever know for sure, as the one bottle discovered intact had a cracked cork so it was totally empty.
Looks like they’ll have to just ‘Let It Be.’
