Brody Jenner missed step-sister Khloe Kardashian’s nuptials to LA Lakers player Lamar Odom at the weekend because he was promoting the new series of ’The Hills’.
One way to get a crappy Christmas present, dude… (Even if the pair of them didn’t give you much notice, having only started dating a month ago and all…)
Instead of donning his buttonhole flower and best suit and heading for the chapel in LA, Brodes jetted to NYC for an interview with MTV US.
And in a bid to excuse his wedding no-show, he whimpered: “I had to be here. You guys are the reason why I missed it.”
He seems to think he’ll be at the receiving end of perks from his famous new, step brother-in-law, nevertheless.
“I'm getting some good seats this year at the Lakers games… I've met Lamar a couple of times, and he seems like a pretty incredible guy. So, it came fast, to say the least, but I'm happy for them. She seems very happy, so good for them."
We can’t decide whether BJ’s no-show was selfless or selfish… Which gig would have gained him the most publicity? The Hills or the much-gossed-about, super-speedy celeb wedding?
It’s a toss-up…
