Rising star Sophie Lowe has joined co-star Xavier Samuel, MTV Films heavyweight David Gales and marketing guru Chris McGlinn as a judge in this year’s OPTUS ONE80PROJECT.

To give you a bit of background as to exactly why Sophie’s so fab, here’s what she’s been up to: after finishing school in 2008, Sophie made her feature film debut in ’Beautiful Kate’ where her stunning performance received local and international acclaim and received a nod for ‘Best Actress’ at the AFI Awards.

Lowe’s then stared in ’Blessed’ and ’The Clinic’ before joining Twilight hottie – and star of last year’s ONE80PROJECT winning entry ’Dreamlife’- Xavier on the sci-horror film ’Road Train’.

No stranger to TV herself – Lowe has appeared in the groundbreaking Foxtel series ’Satisfaction’ - Sophie will help her fellow panellists decide the ‘Judges Choice Winner’ from the Top-10 pilots submitted.

For those who have been living under a rock for the last four years, the OPTUS ONE80PROJECT gives budding TV creators the chance to have their idea made into a one hour TV drama, to be aired on MTV Australia and via Optus ZOO’s online portal or via Optus ZOO on their compatible 3G mobile.

All you need is a good idea and a few digital resources to get your vision off the ground. Entries close at 5:00pm on Friday February 12, so get creating.

Head to www.one80project.com.au for more info on the comp and for details on how to vote for your favourite Top-10 entry from March 1, 2010.
