One of the biggest Gods of rock has put his hell-raising days behind him and is set to become husband material.
According to E!, Gene Simmons has finally set a date to walk down the aisle with his fiancee Shannon Tweed!
The Kiss front man and the former Playboy bunny will say ‘I Do’ on October 1 after 28 years of being together.
Gene popped the question while filming the final season of ‘Gene Simmons Family Jewels’, a reality show which follows the couple and their two adult children Nick and Sophie.
"I come with so much baggage, but you're the only friend I've got. You're the only one I love...and you're the only one I ever will love," he told Tweed while they were on holiday in Belize.
The couple’s nuptials will take place at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel where guests have been asked to wear ‘classy cocktail attire although we know some rockstar attire will be worn.’
In other rock wedding news, Guns N Roses guitarist Slash renewed his vows with wife Perla Ferrar in Ibiza at the weekend.
According to the Daily Mail, Perla even slipped back into the frock she wore on her last big day ten years ago, and added a white top hat – in honour of her hubbie’s iconic look!
It’s quite a turn around for the couple, who looked as though they were headed for splitsville last year after Slash filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Oh we do love a Rockstar wedding!
