Just weeks after Jay-Z compared his famous missus Beyoncé to pop icon Michael Jackson, she’s been snapped up to perform at his honorary show ‘Michael Forever - The Tribute Concert.’

A statement on the event's official Facebook page read,

"A unique, never-before-seen performance by Beyoncé of one of her favourite Jackson 5 songs will be shown at the concert."

But sadly Queen B WON’T be attending the star-studded Cardiff bash, instead she’ll be performing at the show via satellite.

The statement continued,

"A lifelong Michael fan, Beyoncé really wanted to be involved in this tribute concert. Due to scheduling issues she can't be there in person, but this performance is not to be missed."

Other acts confirmed to take part in the event on October 8 are Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Leona Lewis, Smokey Robinson, Alexandra Burke, Pixie Lott and Craig David.
