Or at least that’s what Adam Young should be telling himself…
The Owl City star has been desperately waiting to hear back from the songbird after dedicating a romantic ballad to her as a Valentine’s Day gift.
And to be fair - she did lead him on a tad.
The 21-year-old hinted at a crush on the soppy chart-topper by suggesting her track ‘Enchanted’ was inspired by the pair’s first meeting in New York – and even capitalised the letters A-D-A-M in her album’s lyric booklet!
But after reportedly exchanging emails for four months after their initial encounter – T-Swizzle failed to respond to the ‘Fireflies’ singer’s romantic gesture back in February.
He told Us Weekly, "[I was] a little [heartbroken]. I'm not that eloquent, and I may have said something wrong. I never heard back."
