The wacky hitmaker, whose ‘California Dreams Tour’ wraps in January, has revealed plans to put her third album on hold to go off trekking instead.
“I wanna travel in my own way,” she told Perez Hilton.
“The early part of next year I’m going to go on a wilderness trek.”
And from the sounds of it, she WON’T be taking her hubby Russell Brand along for the ride…
“It’s basically like surviving without anything,” she added to Perez of her trip.
“Learning how to make fire, learning how to live off the land, from nature.”
Meanwhile, after a massive 2011, the ‘Firework’ star has revealed her excitement at being named MTV’s ‘Artist of the Year.’
“I just want to say thank you for this amazing award," she told mtv.com in a video message.
"To be Artist of the Year, a whole 365 days, that's pretty cool."
