Taking to the stage at Belfast’s iconic City Hall to coincide with the main show - broadcast from Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday November 7 @ 3pm (AEDT) on MTV Australia - the multi award-winning acts are set to wow more than 15,000 fans with their epic live sets!
Snow Patrol, who will debut tracks from their upcoming 6th album as well as blasting out hits including ‘Run,’ ‘Chocolate’ and ‘Chasing Cars,’ will have their performance beamed live into the ‘2011 MTV EMA’ - which will be taking place simultaneously at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena.
“We‘re really looking forward to performing for the EMAs at such a special location on home-turf. It‘s going to be a great night and a lot of fun,” the band told MTV.
Meanwhile Jason Derulo, who’s currently riding high after the international release of his 2nd album ‘Future History,’ will impress crowds with his super slick moves and infectious tracks, which will also be featured in the ‘2011 MTV EMA Red Carpet Live’
“This is my first EMA,” the hitmaker told MTV. “And it's an honor to be asked to perform as I've always been an MTV fan. I am also very excited to perform for my Irish fans and visit Belfast for the first time".
Also getting the fun started on the night will be US rock trio Boyce Avenue – who’ve been snapped up to open the star-studded event!
