- Idol Contestent Falls To Death

Suspected Suicide, Investigations Continue

Gloomy reports have surfaced putting a dampener on what was otherwise a successful Parklife Festival in Queensland. 

Former Australian Idol Contestant Levi Kereama fell to his death just hours after attending the outdoor music festival held in Brisbane's Botanic Gardens.

Levi's body was discovered in an inner-city hotel at 10:30pm last Saturday night. The R&B singer's tragic death is still under investigation, as rumours circulate of suicide and a past marred with depression.

Family of the Idol Contestant deny any history of depression, describing him as a 'happy, outgoing, lively and loving friend, brother, son, uncle and cousin'.

Levi was a wild card entry into the first series of Australian Idol, competing with the likes of Guy Sebastian and Shannon Noll. Levi also had plans to release a new album with band Lethbridge which consists of himself and his brothers.

Our thoughts are with Levi's family and those close to him.
