Sweetie-pie songstress Taylor Swift has found herself at the center of a Nazi race row after posing for a photo with a fan wearing a t-shirt with a swastika painted on it.

The offending snap also shows Taylor wearing a dress with the letters ‘JH’ scrawled across the front – initials which some whispering blogsters say stands for “Jew Hater”.

Gulp.

So what’s going on? Has Taylor been hiding a dark side all along?

Of course not.

The picture of T-Swift and the fan - a male model called AJ English - was actually taken at Katy Perry’s 25th birthday last weekend, where party goers were splattered with chocolate and gunk in accordance with its ’Willie Wonka And The Chocolate Factory’ theme.

According to T's rep, the initials on her dress were etched in chocolate and stand for Julianne Hough – one of her best chums. T's publicist also defended the star's motives behind having the pic taken.

The rep told TMZ website: “Taylor took pictures with about 100 people that night... she doesn't know who this guy is and she didn't realise what was on his shirt.”

Meanwhile, AJ says the symbol on his top started out as a cross and was “perverted” by drunken revelers as the night wore on.

He denies being a racist or a neo-Nazi and has since taken to his Twitter to aplogise to Taylor for inadvertently embroiling her in a race scandal.

AJ Tweeted: “Front page of TMZ.... sorry Taylor...”

Taylor has meanwhile kept a dignified silence on the subject.
