With Kanye West currently rocking our shores and the likes of Roxette, The Cranberries and Lenny Kravitz all on their way – we’re not surprised to hear that Coldplay are after some Aussie action too!
Yep, just months after first teasing a return to our shores, the Brit crooners are reportedly planning a 2012 tour!
"I was sitting next to (promoter) Michael Gudinski last night and he said Coldplay are coming out later this year," revealed Triple M Melbourne’s Eddie McGuire on his Hot Breakfast show.
The fierce four-piece, who recently dropped their fifth album ‘Mylo Xyloto,’ were last Down Under in August last year for an appearance at ‘Splendour In the Grass.’
At the time, bass player Guy Berryman told Brisbane’s Courier Mail,
"It's not really the sort of place you'd come to for a day, but we'll be back at some point in 2012 to do a proper tour."
